Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS) is the first in Louisiana to use the Indigo® CAT RX Aspiration Catheter in a coronary intervention.  The minimally-invasive procedure was performed by Dr. Satish Gadi, CIS interventional cardiologist, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center.

St. Tammany Parish Hospital and Ochsner Health System colleagues and supporters recently cut a ceremonial ribbon on the newest location for therapy and wellness in the partnership.

“We are truly excited to open this new facility,” said STPH Chief Operating Officer Sharon Toups. “It was designed with input from our therapy staff with the patients that we serve, young and old, in mind.”
