Terrebonne General Medical Center (TGMC) is offering MyChart Bedside to in house patients. The tablet-based application in each room allows TGMC’s patients to take control of their healthcare with real-time information while they are admitted to the hospital.
This technology allows patients to keep track of their daily schedule, learn more about members of their treatment team, take notes, make non-urgent requests, monitor their recent vitals and labs, and review educational materials assigned by the nurse. They also have some entertainment options featured on the iPad.
