DePaul Community Health Centers (DCHC) is once again offering free dental screenings and fluoride treatments for children on Give Kids A Smile Day, March 22.

The event, presented by Fore!Kids Foundation, will take place at DCHC’s Carrollton location (3201 S. Carrollton Ave.) from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. and provide children ages one to 10 years old with dental care. Additionally, children will enjoy face-painting, balloon art, games, music from a DJ and more. Last year’s event provided dental services for nearly 130 children.

-Stay hydrated: Dehydration can impair your judgment and make you more vulnerable to accidents or crime. Pace yourself with water, non-alcoholic beverages, and food.

-Leave glass bottles at home.

-Watch your step for curbs and uneven roads or sidewalks.

DePaul Community Health Centers (DCHC) welcomed Optometrist Shaista Vally, OD, at its new Algiers location on 2801 General DeGaulle.

Vally provides patients with routine annual eye visits along with detecting, managing, and treating astigmatism, eye infections, diabetic eye disease, eye injuries, and more.
