North Oaks Health System Invites Public to Town Hall Forum Oct. 11

North Oaks Health System will hold a town hall forum on Oct. 11, offering the public a chance to find out more about North Oaks, and to discuss the future of healthcare in Louisiana. Hosted by the North Oaks Board of Commissioners and President/Chief Executive Officer Michele Sutton, the forum will take place from 5:30-7 p.m. in the E. Brent Dufreche Conference Center, located within North Oaks Diagnostic Center at 15837 Paul Vega, MD, Dr. in Hammond. While registration is not required, seating is limited.

Since assuming the role of president and chief executive officer in January of 2017, Sutton has encouraged open collaboration and communication with the community. In this spirit, Sutton plans to provide a brief update on new physicians and services, as well as information on the health system’s new Council of Patient and Family Advisors.

The majority of the forum, however, will be dedicated to answering questions from the floor, as well as questions emailed in advance to CEOFeedback@northoaks.org, or mailed to CEO Feedback, P.O. Box 2668, Hammond, LA 70404.

“We want to know what’s important to our friends and neighbors,” Sutton explains. “All questions are welcome, with the exception of those pertaining to specific patient care or billing issues. Those will be addressed privately to protect confidentiality.”

After the forum, all questions and answers will be posted to the health system’s website at www.northoaks.org.

This is the second of two town hall forums scheduled for 2017. The first forum was held May 10, 2017.
