Thibodaux Regional Health System announced the addition of Pradeep Thodima, MD, nephrologist, to the active medical staff. Thodima is available to care for patients at Thibodaux Regional Nephrology Clinic at 604 North Acadia Road, Suite 410, in Thibodaux.
Thodima received a medical degree from Andhra Medical College in Visakhapatnam, A.P. India. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Ga, and completed a fellowship in nephrology at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Penn. Thodima is board-certified in internal medicine and nephrology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
As a physician specializing in nephrology, Thodima diagnoses and treats conditions that affect the kidneys, such as acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, kidney failure, and polycystic kidney disease. Additionally, he manages treatment for dialysis patients.
