Lakeview Regional Medical Center, a campus of Tulane Medical Center, is looking for individuals to join its volunteer auxiliary and help its mission to deliver compassionate patient care. Volunteers are needed on the Comfort Cart, on the third floor, in the gift shop, greeting in the Human Resources Department, and hosting at the information desk and in outpatient surgery.
“Our volunteers are individuals who willingly give their time to assist with patient and nonpatient care at Lakeview Regional,” states Alisha Kennedy, volunteer coordinator. “The kind and generous efforts by our volunteers add comfort and happiness to our patients, our staff, and our visitors. It’s a well-known fact that volunteers get as much as they give!”
Volunteers receive several perks for service at Lakeview Regional, including a free meal in the cafeteria during a four-hour or longer shift, an annual recognition luncheon, invitations to all hospital social events, and a 10 percent discount on purchases made in the Duck’s Nest Gift Shop. For more information about becoming a volunteer at Lakeview Regional, contact Kennedy at (985) 867-3951 or alisha.kennedy@hcahealthcare.com.
