Lakeview Regional Medical Center’s 24 Junior Volunteers were honored at an appreciation party hosted by the hospital for their 675 service hours contributed during the months of June and July.
Alisha Kennedy, volunteer coordinator, welcomed attending junior volunteers, their parents, senior volunteers, and Lakeview employees as well as Dr. Jacques Guilllot, chief medical officer, to the reception. Several staff members who worked closely with the students spoke very highly of their professionalism, attentiveness, and dedication.
The Junior Volunteers assisted in many areas of the hospital including admitting, radiology, emergency room, outpatient surgery, cath lab, labor and delivery, and outpatient rehab. They received a gift from Lakeview in appreciation for their dedication and commitment.
