Thibodaux Regional Health System announced the addition of Noaman Ahmad, MD, nephrologist, to the active medical staff. Ahmad is available to care for patients at Thibodaux Regional Nephrology Clinic at 604 North Acadia Road, Suite 410, in Thibodaux.
Ahmad received a medical degree from Khyber Medical College in Pakistan. He completed a residency in internal medicine at University of Alabama at Birmingham - Huntsville Regional Medical Campus in Huntsville, Ala., and completed a fellowship in nephrology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn. Ahmad is board-certified in internal medicine and nephrology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Ahmad diagnoses and treats conditions that affect the kidneys, such as acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, kidney failure, and polycystic kidney disease. Additionally, he manages treatment for dialysis patients.
