Thibodaux Regional Health System announced the addition of Caitlin L. Borne, MD, hematology and oncology specialist, to the active medical staff. She has joined the Oncology Clinic at Thibodaux Regional Cancer Institute.
Borne received a medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago, IL. She completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Illinois - Chicago and a hematology/ oncology fellowship at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans where she served as chief fellow.
She is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Oncology. She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology, and current president of the Louisiana Oncology Society.
