TGMC Introduces Electrostatic Cleaning and Ultraviolet Technology to Fight COVID-19

Terrebonne General Medical Center (TGMC) is taking proactive steps to enhance its disinfecting procedures by adding the Clorox® Total 360® System and the UVDI-360 Room Sanitizer.  Together, these two devices will add an extra level of protection and prevention against illness-causing germs, including the virus that causes COVID-19.

The Clorox® Total 360® system uses electrostatic technology and can sanitize up to 18,000 square feet per hour, working up to four times faster than traditional cleaning and using 65% less product. The UVDI-360 Room Sanitizer uses UV-C rays to inactivate germs and bacteria and prevent reproduction, all within a five-minute time frame. Both cleaning measures allow for immediate re-entry of treated rooms and waiting areas.

“A safe environment is top priority during this unprecedented time,” said Phyllis Peoples, president and CEO. “Incorporating these new procedures into our established cleaning measures gives both patients and employees peace of mind that they are protected to the highest degree.”
