Longtime Northshore business leader and community advocate T. Paul Davis has been appointed to serve on the St. Tammany Health System Board of Commissioners.
He replaces outgoing member and Board Vice Chairman Thomas D. Davis, his father, who has served on the body since May 2006.
“Paul has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to strengthening our community through thoughtful leadership and service,” Board Chairman John A. Evans said in announcing the appointment. “His business acumen, collaborative approach and longstanding dedication to improving the quality of life on the Northshore make him an outstanding addition to our Board of Commissioners. We welcome him to the team and thank him for his willingness to serve.”
A graduate of Saint Paul's School and Southeastern Louisiana University, Davis earned a bachelor's degree in business management before joining Parish Concrete in 1995. He became vice president of the Mandeville-based company in 2003 and has served as president since 2018.
In addition to the health system Board of Commissioners, Davis serves numerous nonprofit and civic boards. He is the current chairman of the St. Tammany Health Foundation’s Board of Trustees, and he has served on the governing boards of the Louisiana Concrete Association and P&W Industries LLC. He is a past member of the boards of the Northshore Food Bank and the St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce Political Action Committee, in addition to service to the Special Olympics and the Saint Paul's School alumni association.
