Drs. Rory Duffour, MD, and Sherry Rowland, MD, first opened the Rowland-Duffour Clinic in 1989. Together, this married couple has been caring for the families and children of Slidell and surrounding areas since then.
Recently, they joined the SMH Physicians Network, which over the last 11 years has grown to include a large group of primary care and multispecialty physicians, along with nurse practitioners, offering a wide array of healthcare services.

Dr. Duffour is a Family Medicine practitioner. Dr. Rowland is a Pediatrician.
Dr. Duffour’s medical education began at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed a Family Practice Residency at Louisiana State University Medical Center Shreveport, where he was Chief Resident. He is board certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine, and has been a Diplomate of the Academy of Family Practice for over 20 years. He is also an Adjunct Professor with Tulane and LSU family medicine programs.
Dr. Rowland began her medical education at the Louisiana State Medical School in Shreveport. She then completed her Pediatric Residency at Arkansas Children's Hospital. Dr. Rowland is known among area parents for giving their children up-to-date medical care in a humorous and loving manner.
