The Louisiana Business Group on Health (LBGH) awarded Louisiana Healthcare Connections with the Working Well in Louisiana Worksite Wellness Recognition of Excellence at its recently held annual luncheon in Baton Rouge. The award is presented to Louisiana employers that demonstrate a commitment to programs that support health and wellness in the workplace.
As a Well-Ahead Louisiana Level 2 Worksite Wellspot, Louisiana Healthcare Connections was recognized by the LBGH for its efforts to promote workplace wellness through unique programs that incentivize employees for healthy behaviors, such as its signature wellness program, Healthy Pathways.
In addition to access to a wide variety of health and wellness tools, employees of the Healthy Louisiana Medicaid health plan also enjoy a workplace culture that encourages a healthy work/life balance with programs that offer resources for child care, elder care, behavioral health needs, and legal support.
