Lakeview Regional Medical Center, a campus of Tulane Medical Center, is hosting a free educational event on Nov. 8 about hernias and the latest treatment options. Dr. Cary Gray, General Surgeon with Lakeview Regional Physician Group, will give a short presentation about the three types of hernias, and will be available to answer questions. Dr. Gray and staff from Lakeview’s robotic surgery team will also give an up-close demonstration of the daVinci Surgical Robot System, which is used in minimally invasive hernia repair.
The event will take place from 6-6:45 p.m. at in the Pelican Room at Lakeview Regional Medical Center, 95 Judge Tanner Blvd. in Covington.
