Lakeview Hospital is hosting a Community Wellness & Shopping Pop-Up event on Sept. 17 from 11 a.m.- 2 p.m.
Nearly 50 vendors will offer free health screenings, interactive wellness education, local shopping, food and beverages, nonprofit engagement, and entertainment. This event is free and open to the public. It will be held in the Registration Pavilion at Lakeview Hospital, 95 Judge Tanner Blvd. in Covington.
Health screenings include blood pressure, dental, vision, and hand-grip strength tests. Attendees can expect to learn everything from healthy food preparation and gardening tips to stroke prevention, fire safety, gun storage safety, mental health, and more. There will also be chair massages, mobile spray tanning, and free giveaways. Those who visit at least half of the vendors and get a card stamped will be entered into a drawing for one of six prizes.
