DePaul Community Health Centers' Infant Empowerment Education Program (DIEEP) is hosting its 2nd Annual "Date with Dad: Strong Fathers, Strong Families, and a Strong City." The free event, to be held June 7, highlights the role of fathers in building strong families and a thriving community. This gathering will feature panel discussions on paternal mental health, defining fatherhood, career development, the impact of education on parenthood, financial literacy, and more. The program will also include a healthy lunch and free giveaways.
“Date with Dad” will be held in the Grand Ballroom at Xavier University of Louisiana, University Center, 3rd Floor, located at 1 Drexel Dr., New Orleans. Registration will be held from 9:30-10 a.m. Opening and panel discussions will be held from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
