DePaul Community Health Centers (DCHC), in partnership with Florida Parishes Human Services Authority (FPHSA), hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony on March 20 to celebrate the opening of DCHC’s new health center located at 835 Pride Drive, Suite B, in Hammond, La.
The new location expands access to primary and preventive medical care for adults, senior care, pharmacy services, Medicaid enrollment, and support services addressing social determinants of health, including assistance with food, housing, and employment. These services are offered alongside FPHSA’s longstanding recovery-based, person-centered behavioral health and developmental disabilities services.
DCHC provider Elizabeth “Clancey” Powell, NP, began caring for patients last month at the new location, working in collaboration with FPHSA to serve residents across the five Florida Parishes north of Lake Pontchartrain: Livingston, St. Helena, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, and Washington.
