DCHC’s Dr. Donna Bridge Selected for NNOHA Leadership Training

Dr. Donna Bridge, chief dental officer at Daughters of Charity Health Centers (DCHC), has been selected to join the seventh cohort of the National Oral Health Learning Institute (NOHLI) coordinated by the National Network for Oral Health Access (NNOHA). The program targets dental directors at Federally Qualified Health Centers and health center/safety-net clinics who have been in their positions for five years or less.

The year-long training, beginning Nov. 11-14 at the 2018 NNOHA Conference in New Orleans, incorporates both in-person and online sessions that will provide core knowledge and competencies that are critical to oral health leaders. The training also helps them to further develop as effective managers, directors, and advocates for oral health and their communities.

Cohort members also will participate in a boot camp in Denver, Col. Additional activities are scheduled to occur during the 2019 NNOHA Conference in Las Vegas, Nev. The core curriculum was developed from NNOHA’s Operations Manual for Health Center Oral Health Programs.

Bridge, who joined DCHC this past February, oversees three dental centers and one mobile dental unit. Her assessment and subsequent updating of DCHC’s dental fee schedule ensures affordability for the unique patient population served by DCHC.
