DePaul Community Health Centers (DCHC) is once again partnering with Second Harvest Food Bank (SHFB) to distribute free groceries via a drive-thru food pantry on April 10. 

The event will take place at DCHC’s Carrollton Warehouse, located behind the Carrollton health center at 3201 Short Street from 9 a.m. until all the food is gone.

The food giveaway is held the second Friday of each month and is open to the public.

Gov. Jeff Landry signed an executive order establishing the Office of Rural Health Transformation and Sustainability within the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH), marking a major step forward in strengthening healthcare access and outcomes for rural communities across the state. The executive order also establishes the Rural Health Transformation Program Advisory Council.

The evening will begin with a Patron Party at 6 p.m., leading into the Gala from 7 to 11 p.m. This event aims to raise crucial funds to support DePaul Community Health Centers’ (DCHC) efforts in providing high-quality healthcare for the community.
