Ochsner Health has announced community COVID-19 testing locations in the greater New Orleans and Northshore regions the week of June 22. Testing is open to Louisiana residents, age two and older. 

Members of the community who wish to be tested should bring an ID and insurance card, if applicable. There are no out-of-pocket costs for those seeking a test and no one will be turned away based on their insurance status. Testing is available at the times listed below or until all test kits have been utilized.

Drownings are preventable, yet Louisiana has the highest drowning rate in the United States for children 1-14 years old. It is the second-leading cause of death among Louisiana children in the same age group. That’s why Lakeview Regional Medical Center, a campus of Tulane Medical Center, is joining the Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency (LOPA) and the Louisiana Department of Health to educate the public on pool and water safety to prevent further drownings.
