Dr. MarkAlain Déry, DO, MPH, FACOI, of Access Health Louisiana will be honored this fall as Internist of the Year by the American College of Osteopathic Internists (ACOI), a national professional organization dedicated to promoting the principles of osteopathic medicine. ACOI will bestow the honor on Oct. 23 during its annual convention (#ACOI2020), which will be held virtually this year.
Fitch Ratings has affirmed the A+ Issuer Default Rating (IDR) for St. Tammany Parish Hospital Service District No. 1, (St. Tammany Health System) with positive outlook.
According to Fitch, “The affirmation of the A+ rating reflects strong operating performance that has helped support solid liquidity and leverage metrics even in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.”

Terrebonne General Medical Center (TGMC) welcomed two new Interventional cardiologists, Drs. Sagger Mawri and Andres Vargas. Mawri and Vargas will practice at TGMC and Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS).
